Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al-Arifi
Governor of the National Development FundA distinguished executive with extensive leadership experience across both the public and private sectors, he has held a number of high-profile strategic and executive roles. Most notably, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Shareek Program (Private Sector Partnership Program), Advisor at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services.
In the private sector, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Jadwa Investment and Treasury Director at Bahri, where he led the landmark merger with Vela International Marine.
He also held several senior leadership roles at the Capital Market Authority (CMA), culminating in his leadership of the Listing and Investment Division. In addition, he has served on multiple boards of directors, including Matarat Holding Company and Saudia (Saudi Arabian Airlines)
His Excellency holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Babson College, United States of America.
