Mohammed Ahmed Gharawi
Executive Director of the National Labor ObservatoryDr. Mohammed Gharawi has served as the Executive Director of the National Labor Observatory (NLO) since 2024, where he leads the strategic transformation of the Observatory through the development of an integrated ecosystem for data, analytics, forecasting, and scientific dissemination. His leadership strengthens the NLO’s role as a trusted and national source supporting decision-making and the development of labor market policies.
Dr. Gharawi brings over two decades of experience in strategic leadership and institutional transformation. He has led major research and consulting projects in collaboration with key national entities, including the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), contributing to the advancement of digital government systems. He has been recognized with the prestigious HICSS Award for his notable scientific contributions.
Dr. Gharawi holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from the State University of New York at Albany, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science from King Saud University.
