Thamer Misfer Al-Wadai
Executive Director of Internal AuditMr. Thamer Al-Wadai currently serves in the role of the Executive Director of Internal Audit since 2021, as he leads the development of internal audit practices in accordance with the latest standards to enhance compliance and improve institutional performance efficiency.
He possesses extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, and governance. He has held several leadership positions, including General Director of the Internal Audit Group at the Saudi Customs Authority, General Director of the Internal Audit Program at the Saudi National Bank (formerly Samba), and Chief Audit Executive at American Express. He has also served as a board member in several organizations.
Mr. Al-Wadai holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, in addition to advanced professional certifications including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
