Agreement to Train 900 Job Seekers in Media Field
In a qualitative step to enhance national capabilities and empower Saudi competencies, and in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 for human capital development. HRDF announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with the SPA Training Academy, with the aim of training 900 male and female job seekers in technical and specialized professions in the media sector and preparing them to work in private sector establishments in line with the needs of the evolving market.
The agreement also includes the implementation of specialized days for media professions, specialized programs in the English language in the media and communication sector, in addition to providing specialized professional certificates in a number of media fields,in a way that contributes to enhancing professional skills and raising the quality of media performance.
This agreement comes as part of the Fund's efforts to provide qualitative and integrated training programs that are compatible with the requirements of the labor market in the media sector with a focus on modern technical and digital skills that enhance beneficiaries' employment opportunities and the sustainability of their career paths.
Each program lasts 12 months and provides training for job seekers to enhance their technical and creative capabilities, contributing to raising their efficiency and qualifying them for the requirements of the labor market in the advanced media sector.
This partnership is expected to have a tangible impact on increasing employment opportunities in the sector, supporting the growth of the private sector by providing specialized and qualified cadres, in addition to promoting digital and media innovation in line with the Kingdom's vision towards a knowledge and skills-based economy.
This agreement also reflects the commitment of HRDF and SPA Academy for Training to support the development of national capabilities and the creation of an advanced educational and training environment that contributes to the empowerment of young men and women and raises the level of professional competitiveness for them, for the benefit of society and the national economy.
This agreement comes at a time when the media sector is witnessing strong growth and accelerated transformations, as the Kingdom seeks to strengthen its media sector to reach 42 billion SAR, doubling the sector's contribution to GDP from 0.4% to 0.8% by 2030.
