Cabinet Commends HRDF Contributions
During its session held yesterday, Tuesday, at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may Allah protect him – the Council of Ministers expressed its appreciation for the contributions of the Human Resources Development Fund in employing 267,000 male and female citizens in private sector establishments during the first half of 2025.
The Council noted that through these contributions, HRDF enhanced its strategic role in empowering national cadres, raising their competitiveness, and supporting the growth of the labor market in the Kingdom.
For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of HRDF’s Board of Directors, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, stated that the Cabinet’s commendation embodies the leadership’s interest – may Allah support it – in empowering the sons and daughters of the nation and raising their competitiveness in the labor market. He added that it represents a great incentive for HRDF to continue its role in supporting national cadres, enhancing labor market growth, and contributing to the country’s journey toward further achievements.
HRDF Director General, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini, also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership – may Allah protect it – for its unlimited support in empowering the sons and daughters of the nation and strengthening their participation in national development.
He expressed his pride in the Cabinet’s recognition of HRDF’s contributions during the first half of 2025, noting that it is a medal of honor cherished by HRDF and a strong motivator to continue achieving such qualitative accomplishments.
