HRDF Wins Best HR Team in GCC Award
As part of its commitment to adopting best international practices in managing its human resources, excelling in talent acquisition, and developing and enhancing staff capabilities and skills, the Human Resources Development Fund has won the “Best HR Team in the GCC” award for 2025. The award is part of the 13th Annual GCC Government HR Summit Awards 2025, at a ceremony held on Thursday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
HRDF’s Executive Director for Human Resources, Mr. Muteb bin Ali Al-Qunaisi, won second place in the “Best HR Leader in the Government Sector” category, while HRDF won second place for “Best Learning and Development Strategy in the Public and Government Sector.”
Mr. Al-Qunaisi received the awards during the ceremony.
HRDF received this recognition in light of its adoption of the latest HR strategies and practices, its ongoing commitment to global standards, and its implementation of numerous programs and initiatives that feature leading practices in human development, continuous learning and development programs, and enhancement of the employee experience.
Winning this award crowns the Fund’s efforts and extends its journey toward enhancing performance quality and institutional excellence, along with its constant commitment to quality standards and efficient performance across all operations. Foremost among these efforts is developing national talents within HRDF itself, upgrading their skills and capabilities, and fostering a stimulating work environment that encourages creativity and innovation, in line with HRDF’s strategic goals and Vision 2030’s targets for improving human capital efficiency.
It is worth noting that the GCC Government HR Summit Awards aim to highlight the achievements of public sector institutions and individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in developing employees across various fields such as human resources management, institutional diversity, and strategic planning. The awards honor institutions and individuals across several specialized categories.
Last year, HRDF obtained the ISO 10015 certification, an international standard for competence management and talent development. This standard aims to enhance excellence in training processes and achieve HR development goals, including planning, implementing, and evaluating training processes in ways that support workforce training efficiency and effectiveness and positively reflect on performance improvement. HRDF has also received many international awards and recognitions in several areas of quality and institutional excellence.
