Employment of More Than 562 Thousand Citizens During 2025
The Human Resources Development Fund announced that it achieved unprecedented records in supporting employment and training during 2025, as the Fund's programs and initiatives contributed to the employment of more than 562,000 citizens in private sector establishments, recording a growth of 29% compared to 2024.
These results are the culmination of the Fund's strategy aimed at keeping pace with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in developing human capital and raising the efficiency of the labor market.
The number of establishments benefiting from the Fund's services increased to more than 226,000 establishments in various regions of the Kingdom, with a growth of 27%. Small, micro and medium enterprises accounted for about 94% of them, and 45 specific training agreements related to employment in various sectors were signed, which confirms the pivotal role of the Fund within Vision 2030 to enhance the role of the private sector in increasing the contribution of small and medium enterprises to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) through investment in national cadres.
The Fund revealed that the total amounts spent on training, empowerment, and guidance support programs during 2025 exceeded 8.296 billion SAR, as more than two million citizens benefited from training, guidance, and empowerment programs, which contributes to raising their professional readiness and aligning their skills with the needs of promising and renewable sectors.
On this occasion, the Director-General of the Human Resources Development Fund, Mr. Turki Abdullah AlJawini, confirmed that these qualitative leaps reflect the generous support given by the wise leadership - may Allah support it - to the human resources system.
AlJawini said: “The continued growth in the number of beneficiaries reflects the success of the Fund's strategic transformation in maximizing economic and social impact. It also reflects the Fund's position as a strategic pillar in developing national capabilities. The Fund's pivotal role is to align training outputs with the needs of the labor market, and to promote strategic partnerships between the public and private sector to link national competencies to promising opportunities in the labor market, which contributes to building a diversified and sustainable knowledge economy."
He added that the Fund continues its efforts to develop its programs to ensure sustainable employment and raise the productivity of national cadres Based on an advanced digital architecture and effective partnerships that support the competitiveness of Saudi citizens locally and globally.
