Extending employment support request period to 330 days
The Human Resources Development Fund has announced an extension of the permission period for submitting support requests for the Employment Support Product to 330 days from the date of adding the employee to the General Organization for Social Insurance records, instead of the previous 270 days. However, the announced period will revert to 180 days starting from October 21, 2024, as the exception period comes to an end.
The Fund extended the exception and modified the permission period to ensure that the maximum number of private sector establishments in the Kingdom benefit from its programs and products, aiming to achieve the desired outcomes of empowering national talents with job opportunities and encouraging establishments to continue performing and developing their businesses.
Through its various programs in training, mentoring, and empowerment, the Fund continuously works to develop the skills of the nation's sons and daughters, increase their participation in the labor market, and encourage the private sector to contribute to Saudization. Additionally, it aims to strengthen partnerships with relevant entities to train, employ, and empower national talents, while enhancing their competitiveness and sustainability in the labor market.
