2.6 Billion Opportunities for Enterprises via Forsah Platform
As part of its ongoing efforts to support the national economy and enhance the contribution of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Human Resources Development Fund confirmed that the Forsah Platform one of the services under the9/10ths Program has recorded a cumulative value of awarded opportunities exceeding SAR 5 billion since its launch.
During 2025 alone, the platform achieved notable milestones, registering more than SAR 2.6 billion in awarded opportunities and projects executed by SMEs through the platform, reflecting a growth rate of 122% compared to 2024.
HRDF noted that this performance further strengthens Forsah’s position as one of the leading national platforms specializing in tenders and procurement. November 2025 marked the platform’s highest monthly achievement to date, with awarded contracts exceeding SAR 800 million, the largest figure recorded since its inception.
This accelerated growth underscores Forsah’s pivotal role in enabling SMEs to access high-value opportunities offered by major entities across both the public and private sectors, thereby enhancing competitiveness and promoting transparency within the procurement ecosystem.
The number of registered suppliers on the platform has surpassed 38,000, signaling the expansion of its beneficiary base and the growing reliance on Forsah as a trusted channel connecting suppliers with large organizations.
HRDF further stated that the results achieved in 2025 are the outcome of continuous digital enhancements, streamlined user journeys for both suppliers and buyers, and strengthened platform reliability as an effective tool for managing procurement and tendering processes in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030
Looking ahead to 2026, Forsah will continue to advance its technical and operational capabilities to deliver more efficient user experience and encourage greater participation from entities and suppliers in leveraging the opportunities available through the platform.
Saudi Vision 2030 has set an ambitious target to increase SMEs’ contribution to GDP to 35% by 2030, through fostering a supportive business environment, enhancing financing solutions, and further developing the legislative and economic support framework.
