HRDF Director-General Meets with International Labor Observatory Delegations

Last Tuesday, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juwaini, Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), met with international delegations from global labor observatories — including observatories from Germany, Azerbaijan, and Singapore, as well as a representative from the World Bank. The meeting took place at HRDF’s headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of Mr. Firas bin Abdulaziz Abaalkhail, Deputy for Operations, Dr. Mohammed Gharawi, Executive Director of the National Labor Observatory, and several senior HRDF officials. 

The meeting aimed to exchange knowledge and expertise on global labor market trends, explore economic opportunities in line with Saudi Vision 2030, and strengthen international collaboration to achieve sustainable economic development. It also sought to build bridges with similar international observatories and foster the exchange of experiences and best practices. 

Discussions covered the key initiatives and programs launched by HRDF in recent years. The visit also included a presentation showcasing the role of the National Labor Observatory in leveraging reliable data to support decision-making. Additionally, an in-depth panel discussion was held with the international delegations to share insights and experiences, emphasizing the Observatory’s commitment to enhancing the quality and efficiency of its services and products. 

As part of the delegation program, the National Labor Observatory arranged a cultural visit to historic sites in Diriyah, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of At-Turaif District. The visit offered delegates a chance to explore Saudi Arabia’s rich historical and cultural heritage. Interactive presentations were given, featuring stories about the social and architectural life in Diriyah. The tour also included Al-Bujairi District, showcasing a unique model of integration between modernity and tradition. The international guests expressed admiration for the architectural design, which reflects the authentic cultural values of the Kingdom and highlights its position as a global cultural and tourism hub.
