HRDF Signs Strategic Agreements in the Industrial Sector
In a notable step reflecting its commitment to building strategic partnerships that contribute to developing national competencies and supporting promising industries in the Kingdom, the Human Resources Development Fund signed three training agreements linked to employment with several specialized entities, to support the qualification and empowerment of national cadres in the industrial sector. The total support exceeds 100 million riyals. The agreements were signed under the patronage and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province.
The agreements included Lucid, the company specialized in manufacturing electric vehicles; the National Industrial Training Institute (NITI); and the Skills Center for Construction Training. The agreements aim to enhance the efficiency of the national workforce in advanced industrial fields, including laser manufacturing technologies, production engineering and quality for electric vehicles, training technical trainers in the electric vehicle industry, construction safety, engineering and electrical technology, and instrumentation.
These agreements are an extension of HRDF’s efforts to build effective partnerships that help various industries in the Kingdom achieve their goals by developing human capital through specialized training programs that respond to labor market needs and enhance employment sustainability in vital sectors aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The agreements stipulate HRDF’s contribution to supporting training and qualification programs, providing qualitative opportunities for beneficiaries, and enhancing their alignment with evolving labor market requirements. A joint working team has also been formed between HRDF and its partners to follow up on the implementation of programs and ensure the quality of their training and employment outcomes.
Through this step, HRDF reaffirms its role as a strategic enabler of the labor market by adopting developmental solutions that align with localization targets and sustainable development goals in the Kingdom.
