HRDF Helps Employ 329,000 Saudis in H1 2026

The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) continued to reinforce its position as a key driver of human capital development and competitive national talent. Through an integrated system of training, empowerment, and guidance programs, HRDF has actively supported Saudization targets and enhanced labor market efficiency in line with economic transformations and sustainable growth across various sectors.

During the first half of 2026, HRDF contributed to the employment of 329,000 Saudi nationals in the labor market, achieving a 23% growth compared to the same period in 2025. This reflects the efficiency of the HRDF’s programs and initiatives in creating high-quality, sustainable job opportunities, raising the readiness of national talent, and advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.

HRDF reported that direct financial support disbursed to beneficiaries—including individuals and establishments utilizing training, empowerment, and career guidance programs—reached approximately SAR 4.9 billion during the same period. Meanwhile, total beneficiaries of its services exceeded 1.69 million Saudi nationals, highlighting the growing impact of the HRDF’s developmental initiatives across the Saudi labor market.

Additionally, over 171,000 establishments across all regions and economic sectors benefited from HRDF’s services, marking a 25% year-on-year increase. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) accounted for 95% of the total beneficiary establishments, reaffirming its commitment to driving private sector growth, enabling businesses to attract and train local talent, and boosting their overall contribution to economic development.

Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini, Director General of HRDF, emphasized that these achievements reflect the unwavering support of the Kingdom’s wise leadership, which has placed human capital investment at the core of national development and sustainable economic growth.

HRDF continues to operate within a comprehensive ecosystem of public and private sector partnerships to develop flexible and efficient enablement solutions. These efforts aim to enhance the readiness of Saudi youth, grant them access to sustainable, high-quality career opportunities, and increase their overall participation in the labor market in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, Al-Jawini stated.
