HRD-NHC Sign Cooperation MoU to Empower National Cadres
In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, and His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the Human Resources Development Fund signed a memorandum of cooperation with NHC, aimed at enhancing localization and empowering national cadres among residents of urban destinations. The MoU was signed by HRDF’s Director General, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini, and NHC’s CEO, Mr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati.
The memorandum comes within the efforts of HRDF and NHC to frame strategic cooperation and empower national cadres living in these destinations by providing specialized training programs linked to employment or direct hiring, and enabling them to benefit from HRDF’s support programs and enablers, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to increase the participation of Saudis in the labor market.
The MoU aims to provide enablers for national cadres, allowing them to benefit from training, empowerment, and job-matching support products, strengthen the capabilities and skills of job seekers from residents of urban destinations, encourage establishments working with NHC to localize jobs and professions in the sector, and hold workshops to introduce programs and products that support human capital development and empowerment.
The memorandum also emphasized the commitment to implementing support programs and products in a way that ensures their quality and the achievement of their goals, as well as forming a joint working team from both parties to follow up on implementation and hold periodic meetings according to developments and work needs.
