Northern Borders Governor Reviews HRDF’s Nationalization Support Targets

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, received today at his office the Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini. 

During the meeting, His Royal Highness was briefed with a comprehensive presentation that covered the Fund’s work, strategic objectives, and its role in the upcoming phase in line with development and improvement requirements. The presentation also included the programs and services offered to establishments and individuals, the Fund’s strategy, the phases and initiatives of its implementation, and labor market statistics in the region. 

The presentation highlighted the key pillars of the Fund’s new approach, which aims to empower the private sector to provide sustainable employment opportunities for national cadres. 

His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of enhancing training and qualification programs, which contribute to enabling the region's sons and daughters to access job opportunities. This effort supports localization targets and aims to raise performance and productivity levels in private sector establishments, in alignment with the aspirations of wise leadership—may God preserve it. 

The meeting was attended by the Fund’s Deputy Director General for Business, Firas bin Abdulaziz Aba Al-Khail, Deputy Director General for Operations, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Nefaie, and a number of the Fund’s senior officials.
