HRDF Supports 268 Professional Certifications
Through its Professional Certification Support program, the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) supports 268 certifications across various specialized fields and business sectors. This initiative aligns with labor market demands, equipping the national workforce with new knowledge and professional skills to enhance productivity.
In the past year, 13,065 Saudi citizens benefited from the program, with total financial compensation reaching approximately 114.4 million SAR.
The Professional Certification Support program complements HRDF’s other initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the national workforce, promoting professional training according to international standards, increasing competitiveness among individuals for specialization and career development, and creating job opportunities through upskilling and workforce localization.
To qualify for the program, applicants must obtain an accredited professional certification listed on the program’s website and confirm that their employer has not covered the certification costs if they are currently employed.
The funding mechanism operates on a reimbursement basis. Eligible individuals submit a claim along with a copy of their obtained certification through the HRDF website (HRDF.org.sa). Once the certification's validity is verified, the reimbursement amount is directly transferred to the applicant’s registered IBAN account.
