Employment Support for 294,000 in the First 9 Months of 2024

The Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jouini, revealed HRDF's contribution to supporting the employment of approximately 294,000 Saudi men and women in private sector establishments during the first nine months of 2024. Additionally, 1.7 million citizens benefited from all HRDF’s programs and products during the same period.
Al-Jouini explained that the number of establishments benefiting from HRDF's services and products since the beginning of 2024 until the end of the third quarter reached about 139,000 establishments across various regions of the Kingdom, working in all vital sectors. He added that the total expenditure on training, guidance, and empowerment programs provided by the Fund during the same period amounted to 5.48 billion riyals.
Al-Jouini confirmed that HRDF is keen to keep up with the developmental boom that the Kingdom is witnessing in all fields, along with the developments and changes in the business sector’s needs and the demand for national workforce skills. He emphasized the Fund’s continuous efforts to develop and enhance the skills of Saudi men and women, increase their participation in the labor market, encourage the private sector to contribute to nationalization, and strengthen partnerships with relevant parties in training, employing, and empowering the national workforce, boosting their competitiveness and sustainability in the labor market.
He added that HRDF's new strategy has contributed to enhancing the benefits for individuals and establishments from HRDFs programs and services. He confirmed that HRDF's efforts to keep pace with labor market changes and meet its demands, while considering sectoral needs and priorities, will continue. HRDF will also work on developing support programs for training, empowerment, and guidance directed at the national workforce, contributing to achieving the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in human capacity development and the labor market strategy.
