"HRDF" signs a memorandum of cooperation with "Lusd" to train and employ 1000 young men and women in the electric vehicle industry
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Lusd Limited (a company specialized in engineering, manufacturing, and selling electric vehicles), aimed at developing the national human capital in the electric vehicle industry. Among the key points of the cooperative framework is supporting the training and qualification of a thousand citizens to work in specialized and professional positions within the company. They will be trained in the United States in preparation for joining the workforce once the factory in King Abdullah Economic City is operational, in line with the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 and in support of enabling the sons and daughters of the nation to work in specialized and quality jobs.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by His Excellency the Director General of the Fund, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juaini, and His Excellency the Vice President of Lusd in the Middle East, Mr. Faisal Sultan.
The cooperation between the two parties includes enhancing employment and training opportunities by utilizing the support and qualification capabilities of the Fund. This involves holding regular job fairs to promote localization in sectors served by Lusd, as well as studying professions and training needs to provide appropriate support solutions. It also aims to enhance on-the-job training opportunities to improve the competitive skills and relevant experiences of national cadres.
The two parties have agreed to form a joint working team to monitor activities, targets, and measure the impact from time to time.
