HRDF and SPAIRe Sign Agreement in Renewable Energy
The Human Resources Development Fund signed a specialized training support agreement with the Saudi Technical Institute for Renewable Energy (SPAIRe), aimed at enabling and qualifying national cadres in specialized technical and engineering fields within the renewable energy sector and its technologies.
The agreement was signed by HRDF Director General Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini and SPAIRe Chairman Eng. Majid bin Mahdi Al-Refaie on Thursday, 10 July, at HRDF’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The agreement aims to qualify 875 trainees from among national competencies in technical and engineering disciplines related to renewable energy, with support amounts reaching up to 139 million riyals, thereby enhancing localization opportunities and supporting Vision 2030 targets.
The agreement is an extension of the ongoing strategic cooperation between HRDF and SPAIRe. HRDF had previously launched several training programs in cooperation with leading training institutions such as the Institute of Energy, with the aim of enabling specialized sectors to benefit from HRDF’s programs and enablers in a way that contributes to enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of national cadres in critical disciplines, including clean energy fields, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals for human capital development and localization of future jobs.
