Jazan Encounters-Local Youth Engage with Career Guidance
The Jazan Encounters 2024, organized by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) at Jazan University, witnessed strong engagement from young men and women in the region with the career guidance sessions delivered by specialists and labor market experts. These sessions discussed how to capitalize on artificial intelligence applications and the best ways to interact with them.
During the sessions, which began today, Tuesday, and will continue for three days, speakers presented focused programs related to career interests, job goals, building and testing capabilities and competencies, and overcoming the challenges that newcomers to the labor market may face.
The sessions addressed the current status and future of business sectors in light of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and the rapid growth of sectors, emphasizing the need for young men and women to keep pace with modern trends in the market. They also covered how to prepare an attractive CV, turn ideas into opportunities and projects, in addition to the role of institutions in occupational safety and health.
Jazan Encounters comes as an extension of previous encounters held in several regions of the Kingdom. It seeks to offer a package of programs, enablers, and initiatives for the region’s young men and women, contributing to the development of their skills and capabilities and enabling them to access job opportunities and invest in human capital.
Jazan Encounters aims to showcase rich experiences and knowledge, with the participation of prominent speakers, experts, and professionals. It is also accompanied by a job fair and includes five promising tracks for individuals and establishments alike, in addition to presenting key programs and services and highlighting HRDF’s guidance, training, and empowerment programs and products.
