HRDF And Petroleum Polytechnic Institute Support Empowering 2500 Citizens
In order to empower national cadres in promising sectors of the labor market, the Human Resources Development Fund and the Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic Institute recently signed an agreement to support the qualification and training of 2500 male and female citizens in several specialized fields in the energy and industry sectors.
The Fund and the Institute exchanged their memorandum of understanding during the meeting held last Wednesday at the Human Capabilities Initiative conference, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy, His Excellency Professor Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Binyan, the Minister of Education, His Excellency Feras bin Abdulaziz Abu Alkhail, the Deputy Director-General of the Fund for Business, and His Excellency Bassam bin Ayoub Al-Bukhari, the CEO of the Institute.
The agreement comes within the framework of the efforts of the Fund and the Institute to establish mutual cooperation to localize professions in the energy and industry sectors and provide these sectors with qualified and trained national cadres. This aligns with the labor market's trends in promoting the localization of such promising activities, which will contribute to the development of the national economy and the achievement of the ambitious goals of involving national forces in the labor market, in line with the objectives of the Vision.
