HRDF Conducted an Evacuation Drill With the 146 Participants
In accordance with environmental safety methodologies and in order to preserve human capital, the Human Resources Development Fund recently conducted a simulated evacuation exercise at its main headquarters in Riyadh, in a 36-story tower. This exercise was successfully completed by the grace of God and with the cooperation of all staff members of the fund.
The evacuation drill was conducted under the supervision of the General Services Department to ensure the implementation of the highest safety standards and environmental sustainability practices, as well as to verify the readiness of the building's systems in case of any unfortunate incidents, to safeguard the safety of employees and public property.
A total of 146 individuals, including safety, security teams, and volunteers, participated in the evacuation exercise. The entire process for all tower occupants took 25 minutes, with employees with special health conditions evacuated within the first 10 minutes of the drill. Employees were escorted out of the tower within 50 minutes from the start of the evacuation process.
The evacuation exercise adhered to all the requirements and procedures of the Civil Defense Directorate without any observations or challenges hindering the successful execution of the drill.
