The Human Resources Development Fund has revealed its contribution to supporting the employment of 400,000 Saudi men and women through its programs and initiatives aimed at working in private sector establishments during the year 2022.
Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juwaian, the General Manager of the Fund, stated that the Fund works in effective partnership with various government and private sectors to support and empower the citizens in the job market. He pointed out that the Fund witnessed several transformations last year, driven by the keenness of our wise leadership to invest in human capital.
He noted that the growing number of individuals who have been supported in their employment and benefited from the training, empowerment, and guidance services provided by individuals and private sector establishments is part of the Fund's efforts to meet the changes and requirements of the labor market, improve its efficiency, and keep up with developments while considering the needs and priorities related to various sectors. The development of training, empowerment, and guidance support programs directed towards national cadres contributes to achieving the targets of Vision 2030 and the labor market strategy.
Al-Juwaiani added that the number of beneficiaries of the training, empowerment, and guidance services provided by the Fund during the past year exceeded 1.49 million beneficiaries, while the number of establishments benefiting from the Fund's services during the same year exceeded 138,000 establishments in various sectors of the labor market and from various regions of the Kingdom. He also noted that the total amount expended on training and empowerment support programs during the past year reached 6 billion riyals.
