The Director-General of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juaeeni, visited Aqwat Food Industries Company in Jeddah this morning (Tuesday).

During the visit, he met with the CEO of Aqwat Food Industries Company, Engineer Ihsan Aboghazala, in the presence of Mr. Feras bin Abdulaziz Abaalkhail, Deputy Director-General for Operations at "Hadaf," and several executives from both the company and the fund.

The visit aimed to discuss areas of mutual cooperation between "Hadaf" and Aqwat Company in the field of training, qualification, empowerment of national cadres, and supporting their participation in the food manufacturing sector.

The Director-General and the visiting delegation toured the company's premises, including training and qualification halls, technical departments, and other administrative sections. He was briefed on the company's efforts in localization and its future directions for expansion and investment outside the Kingdom.

As part of the visit, he emphasized the importance of enhancing and developing cooperation with Aqwat Company to create more employment opportunities for national cadres and contribute with partners to localize promising industries and increase the local content in non-oil sectors.

During the visit, Al-Juaeeni highlighted the Fund's contribution, along with relevant parties and labor market stakeholders, to provide the food manufacturing sector with qualified and trained national human resources in line with current national development requirements and to achieve the Kingdom's ambitious vision.
