National Labor Observatory Highlights Labor Market for July
The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has released a detailed publication on the Saudi private sector labor market for July (2024). The report details the total number of private sector workers at the end of the month, including a breakdown of Saudi and expatriate workers, male and female, as well as the net growth of Saudi jobs and the number of new and first-time joiners in the private sector for July.
The report indicates an increase in the total number of private sector workers, reaching 11,473,341 workers in July, reflecting continuous job creation growth in the private sector.
According to the report, the total number of Saudis working in the private sector in July was 2,342,083 workers, with 1,385,444 male citizens and 956,639 female citizens. Conversely, the total number of expatriates working in the private sector was 9,131,258 workers, including 8,747,759 male expatriates and 383,499 female expatriates.
The report also highlights the net growth of Saudi jobs for July, with 34,606 Saudis joining the private sector for the first time.
