Supporting self-employment (directed transport) aims to assist workers in the activity of guiding passenger vehicles via applications. It is the product of the cooperation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the General Transport Authority, the Human Resources Development Fund and the Future Work Company.

The beneficiary must be between 18 and 60 years old.

It is one of the tracks of the Freelance Support Product supported by the Fund, through which financial support is provided to freelancers working in the activity of directing passenger transport vehicles via smartphone applications.
The product targets Saudi citizens (male and female) who wish to provide passenger transportation services via ride-hailing applications using their own vehicle, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
- The beneficiary must be between 18 and 60 years old.

- Must have a valid Freelance Work Permit in the “Directed Vehicle Driver” activity.
Full-time students are not eligible for this track.
Distance-learning and part-time (affiliated) students may register if they meet all eligibility requirements.
- Monthly support of 40% of the beneficiary’s total monthly income, based on the income and trip data provided by the Future Work Company and approved by the Transport General Authority.
- Maximum monthly support is 3,000 SAR.
- The beneficiary must earn at least 700 SAR per month to receive support.
- An additional 10% preferential support is provided for females and persons with disabilities, without exceeding the 3,000 SAR monthly support cap.
